1/03/05: I have new pictures! You can tell that Dave has the new camera since the quality has greatly improved. Here are a few of the ones I found most interesting.
He finally had someone take a few pictures of him with our camera.
Nate Miller bonds with the kids at a school where they were handing out school supplies.
I thought that these video clips from handing out the school supplies were really neat: Here, Nate Miller gets the kids in trouble and here Dave explains what they're doing.
These were all taken at the shell of Osama bin Laden's former compound in Afghanistan prior to his "eviction". The next time you see the flag, it will be flying outside our house.
Here are the older ones:
This is a video clip Dave made while riding in a vehicle down a street in Jalalabad. If you are brave enough to watch it, don't say I didn't warn you! It might give you a headache or make you nauseous.
Here's another clip where Dave takes us on a mini tour of some of his camp. Again, his videography skills leave much to be desired, but you can at least get an idea of what it's like over there.
Dave standing on a hill near Jalalabad.
This one is from Camp Atterbury. They were practicing in their chemical mop suits.
Here's Dave looking at some charts. I have no idea what he's doing.
I thought this was interesting.
Here's their camp basketball court. It used to be the swimming pool of the war lord who used to live there.
